The dataset provided herein encompasses seismic observation data collected using short-period seismometers, bandwidth-extension seismometers, and broadband seismometers, spanning from September 28 to October 16, 2023. The observation points were situated on the 1st floor of the School of Engineering at the Southern University of Science and Technology (22°36'07"N, 113°59'29"E). This dataset serves as a crucial validation tool for the research presented in "Difan Yang, Ting Yang et al., Development of Improved Short-Period Geophone: Implementation of Low Frequency Compensation".
